Tattooing professionally all around the world since 1995. The greatest portion of these years being served in Austin, Texas. Here I have had the opportunity to work with a solid client community for more than 20 years, which has allowed me to see my work heal and age over decades. This is critical for understanding functional tattoo design and life-long integrity.
I believe tattooing is a service to the community. Collectors deserve to be treated with absolute respect and kindness. My job is to listen and understand my clients desires, so I can craft tattoos that blend that desire with my own creative impulse and experience to create beautiful, lasting images that satisfy and delight. And to do so in a safe, peaceful, supportive, and respectful manor.
Contact me, await a response. Typically beginning with email, then moving to text, and from text to in-person consultation (or phone call when meeting isnt possible). And finally scheduling and working together. I will guide you through the process step by step, always striving to make you aware of your options and doing my best to assist you in distilling your ideas into the most satisfying concept possible for you. First and foremost I specialize in actually caring for you, and understanding that our time together is about you, not me. I find my satisfaction in this work by respecting you, your long term tattoo goals, and any other tattoos you may have. I love to work toward marrying your collection together and creating cohesive and attractive flow which compliments your body. Cover-ups, re-workings, or new pieces all get the same respectful attention. No piece is too large, no piece is too small.
Most of the year, Im working on a little off-grid homestead in the deep green quiet of Southern Vermont. Thats where I go to try to re-connect with the natural rythm of things. Enjoying the simple pleasures of subsistence living. The hands-on intimacy of trying to create a workable living situation with my own two hands, or simply hiking to search out wild flowers, edible and medicinal plants, and spotting wildlife brings me my greatest peace.
I do the best I can to try and bring a little of that peace back into the tattoo session and share it with my clients. Creating a little slice of serenity in the midst of an over-stimulating world where we can create together in harmony.
